The first time I made this burger was actually just using up some leftovers in the fridge. We had some onions, jalapeños and a solo burger patty for a cookout the night before. We always have bacon on hand - because why wouldn't you? We threw the leftover burger on the grill and topped it with some cheese while searing the veggies. We have perfected it over time by actually putting the onions and jalapeños on the grill to give them some nice char and smokiness but putting them in the skillet for their entirety is still a great option. Top it off with your favorite BBQ and you will have some wonderful smokey and bold flavors to enjoy!
