*We do not cover ANY issues for shipments due to 3rd party shipping.  Please see this as a disclaimer that 100% responsibility is transferred out of Benjamin Lee Bison once the package is dropped off at the shipping facility.  This means no refunds or replacements on products or shipping costs.

Return Policy
Due to the perishable nature of our products, we do not accept returns.

Refund Policy
Benjamin Lee Bison is not liable for any shipping issues.  Please note that the decision to ship is solely decided by the customer with the understanding that they will not be reimbursed or refunded for shipping costs or product value if there is an issue after the order is dropped off at the shipping facility.  

Missing of Incorrect Items
In the unlikely event that items are missing or incorrect in your order, please contact us at info@benjaminleebison.com within 24 hours so we can assist in getting your missing items corrected. 

Replacements
We do not currently offer replacements for orders with shipping issues.

Delivery and Receiving
Please utilize the shipping policy and the tracking information that you are provided after checkout to plan for your delivery.  Benjamin Lee Bison is not responsible for incorrect or incomplete shipping and delivery addresses.  Please make arrangements for perishable items to be received if you are unavailable.  Benjamin Lee Bison is not responsible for perishable shipments when customer is not available to retrieve package by end of delivery day.  Please make us aware ahead of time of any “blackout” dates or days that you know a perishable shipment/delivery cannot be received.  This can be done by utilizing the delivery instructions form, order notes or email us as soon as possible.

Product Storage and Handling
Though a signature is not required, someone should be available day of delivery to receive product and transfer it into a safe storage, as we cannot refund for items that were left out after delivery.  Please unpack your items immediately to assess for issues and transfer to proper storage.  It is normal for some thawing to happen during shipment and minor thawing is not covered under our credit and replacement policy.  Please note that the absence of dry ice does not imply product spoilage, most dry ice will be evaporated by delivery, therefore the absence of dry ice does not solely qualify a delivery for a refund.

Abnormal thawing will include items that are outside of the safe temperature zone, above 40 degrees F, as defined by the USDA as the “danger zone”.  If your items are received completely thawed or no longer cold to the touch, please follow our instructions on reporting an issue immediately. 

Items that are frozen or partially frozen are safe to be added to your freezer for continued storage or to your fridge for consumption within a few days. 

Your products will be shipped with dry ice, please review the proper way to handle and dispose of dry ice.   Never handle dry ice with bare hands.
