Please order a week in advance of any deadlines or events in which items in your order are needed as most orders will not be shipped same week. We do not guarantee any shipping or delivery dates but try our best to follow the plan below:
Please note that when we have prescheduled conflicts that will affect shipping and deliveries, we will make note both on the checkout page as well as with a popup on our website. If this notice is ignored, we cannot refund your order, but the shipment will go out per the schedule that is posted on our site.
There is a $50 minimum for all shipments. Due to the high costs of shipping and packaging as well as our goal of minimizing our environmental impact.
We do not currently offer any type of free shipping. As we continue to experience growth, we hope to be able to qualify for shipping breaks that in turn we can pass on to you as the customer which can yield to discounts and/or free shipping options in the future.
Shipping rates are given at checkout and are provided directly through the carrier services. These rates change based on weights and items ordered and are calculated through UPS, not Benjamin Lee Bison. Please note the delivery estimates are solely regarding the transit time and do not include our processing time of 2 – 4 business days. Benjamin Lee Bison is not liable for any shipping issues outside of the state of Oklahoma. Please note that the decision to ship outside of Oklahoma is solely decided by the customer under the undertanding that they will not be reimbursed for shipping costs if there is an issue after the order is dropped off at the shipping facililty.
Shipping Issues
Should you encounter an issue with your shipment, please contact us within 24 hours to ensure a timely assessment of the issue. Please note that Benjamin Lee Bison IS NOT liabile for shipping issues and the decision to move forward with shipping utiiizing a 3rd party is solely based on the decision of the customer. Benjamin Lee Bison will not cover any shipping fees associated with an issue due to the 3rd party shipping company if shipping outside of Oklahoma*.
Benjamin Lee Bison is not liable for refunds for the following reasons:
-delivery to the wrong address due to incorrect input at checkout
-delivery deliays due to incorrect input at checkout
-lack of same day package retrieval
Benjamin Lee Bison will process a partial refund** for the following reasons:
-incorrect delivery location due to carrier mistake
-delivery delays due to carrier issues
*Benjamin Lee Bison will address a refund for shipping fees only on orders sent within Oklahoma as long as Benjamin Lee Bison is notified within 24 hours of the missed delivery date.
**Benjamin Lee Bison will offer a partial refund to include the value of the meat, but NOT the cost of shipping, to be processed back to the original form of payment, as long as Benjamin Lee Bison is notified within 24 hours of the missing delivery.
Upon Delivery
Please open package and remove any remaining dry ice with care and dispose of properly. Proceed with storing all perishable items in the freezer for future consumption or in the fridge for immediate consumption. It is normal for the dry ice to be mostly or completely evaporated upon delivery. If you are concerned with the safety or temperature of your items, please contact us immediately.
Please be sure to check for shipping and tracking updates to ensure same day retrieval of packages. Items are perishable and packaged with insulation and dry ice to withstand 48 hours of transit. If you realize you will not be able to retrieve your delivered items same day, please coordinate with a trusted individual to gather and store your items until your return.
If a delivery is delayed by the carrier, please check items immediately for quality. If deemed unsafe (over 40 degrees) please contact us directly within 24 hours.
Retail Items
Shirts, hats, koozies, stickers and meat sticks/packs all ship for free and do not require the $50 order minimum; however, if you add bison meat to the order, shipping will default to the requirements above.
LOCAL DELIVERY
Order processing: 2-4 business days

Delivery times: 12 – 6pm unless (please inquire directly with us if you need alternative delivery times)

Items are packaged for same day retrieval and Benjamin Lee Bison is not liable for any perishable items that are not collected and stored properly day of delivery. We recommend coordinating with a trusted party to collect delivered items if you are unavailable.
If you live in a gated neighborhood, have a security gate or any other delivery limitations, you must notate it in the “delivery instructions” prompt that is available. We will not make multiple attempts to deliver. Also, all gates are different, please do not assume that we will just figure it out as we respect a quick and easy delivery process. Thank you!
*If you are not given the local delivery option at checkout, please understand that though we wish we could service everyone, we have limited time and resources to extend the radius at this point in time and would appreciate utilizing the shipping option provided.
PICKUPS
We do not currently offer any pickup options.
We periodically offer a preorder/pickup event, so please sign up for our newsletter to be kept up to date and notified on those opportunities.
If you are looking for an option other than shipping or local delivery, or one without an order minimum, please visit us on Saturdays at Scissortail Famers Market or visit one of our great local retailers that offer our products.
DISCOUNTS
We love to have the opportunity to offer discounts however please understand that we strategically plan for sales and discounts and cannot fulfill personal requests for discounts at this point in time. Additionally, we reserve the right to refuse any discount codes that have been acquired through an unauthorized third party or source (ie apps like Honey). Even with discount codes, we still require an order minimum so please be prepared to adjust your cart to fulfill that requirement.
REFUNDS & REPLACEMENTS
Due to the perishable nature of our product, we cannot accept returns or exchanges.
Currently, due to the small capacity of our business, we do not offer replacement items due to any shipping or delivery issues as item volumes vary and product availability is not gauranteed. We will offer refunds as detailed below:
We will offer refunds for the following reasons:
1) Incorrect delivery location due to carrier mistake - 100% refund
2) Delivery delays due to carrier issues - 100% refund
3) Missing or incorrect items - refund or shipment of missing/incorrect item
Though we do not offer replacements, we ensure 100% refunds so that you are able to place a reorder for the same price without being out of pocket. If you utilized a discount on the prior order that was refunded, we will honor that discount even if it has expired.
To qualify for refunds, please contct us within 24 hours of deliveries that are applicable.

FAQs
How do I check the status of my order?
When your order has shipped, you will receive an email notification from us which will include a tracking number you can use to check its status. Tracking information may take a few hours before available for viewing.
For local delivery, you will receive a delivery notice via the contact you provided at checkout.
Is the meat frozen or fresh?
All meat will be delivered frozen and packed with dry ice (shipment) and should be placed into a freezer for storage or a fridge for consumption in under a week.
Local delivery orders are packed in boxes with a thermal bag. Please place meat in a freezer for future consumption or the fridge for consumption in under a week.
How come I don't see the option for Local Delivery?
The local delivery radius is automatically calculated through our online platform at a 30 mile radius from zip code 73131. For reference, it covers approximately most of OKC, Moore, North Norman, Edmond and into MWC. Outliers of these towns or on the oppositre side from OKC more than likely will not be included.
*If you qualify for local delivery, you will be given the option at check, otherwise you will have the option for UPS delivery for your convenience.
Do you ship internationally?
We do not currently offer shipping outside of the continental US.
Do you deliver to businesses?
We do not currently recommend shipping to businesses as shipping providers do not guarantee delivery by the end of business day. If delivered after business hours, the package will remain exposed until picked up and we suggest opening your items as soon as possible to check for damages and thawing as well as to move the items into your own freezer storage.
Can you ship to a P.O. Box?
We cannot deliver to PO Boxes due to shipping regulations.
Do you have a return policy?
Due to the perishable nature of our product, we cannot offer returns or exchanges for any meat products. If you have a retail item: hat, koozie or shirt, please contact us directly as we can accommodate any exchanges needed.

What happens if my delivery is delayed?
Orders are packaged for a safe 2-day transit, if your items are delivered after that window, please review the contents of your package immediately. It is normal for most or all of the dry ice to be evaporated; however, if meat items are soft and you are concerned about their safety (items must be below 40 degrees to be considered safe), please do not consume and contact us immediately.
Do I qualify for a refund?
