Purchase a Whole or Half Bison and customize every cut to fit your family's needs. 

Once your animal is purchased, we'll deliver it to our trusted processor, where you'll work directly with their experienced team to create the exact steaks, roasts, ground meat, and specialty cuts you want. It's the most economical way to stock your freezer with premium Oklahoma-raised bison while maintaining complete control over how your meat is processed.

How It Works

1. Reserve Your Bison

Secure your harvest with a non-refundable deposit.

Your deposit reserves either a whole or half bison and is applied toward the purchase price of the animal.

2. Schedule a Date

Once your order is received, we'll contact you to schedule an available harvest date. 

Please allow for up to a week for us to contact you with harvest availability. 

3. Work Directly with the Processor

Once the date is scheduled, we will provide the processor with your contact information, and they will contact you directly regarding your cut sheet and instructions.

4. We Deliver to the Processor

On your scheduled harvest date, Benjamin Lee Bison will transport your animal to the processor. 

5. Complete Animal Purchase

After harvest, we'll invoice you for the remaining balance of the animal (less your deposit). Payment is due before the animal is released for processing.  If the payment is not made before the processor begins, you will forfeit both your order and deposit.

Once payment has been received, ownership of the animal transfers to you.

6. Work Directly with the Processor

From this point forward, all processing decisions and communication take place directly between you and the processor.

The processor will:

• Review your cut sheet
• Answer questions about available cuts and packaging options
• Collect all harvest and processing fees at pickup
• Notify you when your order is ready
• Coordinate pickup directly with you

All processing fees are paid directly to the processor and are separate from the purchase of your animal.

Pricing

Bison weights vary as animals remain on pasture until processing so we cannot give specifics on weight of animal, cost or amount of meat.  For rough estimates, the hanging weight is 55% of the live weight and the take home yield is approximately 50%-70% of that hanging weight.  Our animals taken to processing currently average in live weight from 900-1200 pounds.  Please reference below for ease and clarification of weights and assistance in estimating your pricing.

Processing Costs (paid to processor)

Harvest and processing fees are established and billed independently by the processor. Current processing rates begin around $1.05/lb hanging weight and harvest fees $125 but all are subject to change without notice.

We use Route 66 Processing in Sayre, OK for all orders.  For any questions regarding processing please contact them directly, they are responsible for cuts, packaging, pricing and pickup.

• Deposits reserve your harvest date and are applied toward the purchase of your animal.
